On Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2025, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Operations, CP Vincent Sano, delivered a briefing to 320 police officers preparing to join the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic.

These police officers are preparing to go abroad on a peacekeeping mission, and they are divided into two groups that will go to different areas.

The Rwandan Police announced that one group will go to Kaga Bandoro consisting of 180 police officers, and another will go to Bangui consisting of 140 police officers.

It is also expected that they will replace other police officers who have served for a year in that mission.
